A social media war may be the only way to get through to them. Have to see if waterstones and WHSmith have postable social media accounts. This blatant lying kills me.. like they don't have eyes???

I'll refuse to pay the customs fee & taxes on the book and they'll send it back to waterstones, that will be the easiest way for me to get a refund.

Email back asking for proof of how they can confirm that 5 different proven autopen templates are indeed hand signed. Blatant lying. That will just make people even more angry

WHSmiths said to me to return them for a refund but they have to be in the same condition I’ve told them I’ll rip the pages out and send like that as they are selling them on to unsuspecting customers so they refused to refund me 

paypal will deal with it now

If you send them back - just write on the fake signature page right by the Sigs the web address to this Live autograph magazine page and that they are fake! They'll have them returned again when they try re-selling them as they probably won't even check them!

I kinda agree with both of you on the return. As a retailer, they are right. You can't buy a pair of pants, cut them into shorts because your not happy and still return. But 100% see your side. Are you still able to make a PayPal claim? Most people bought this 7 months ago im still going to see if it will work if im unable to refuse the package

yes I have put a claim in I bought them on oct 9 I thought was earlier so had time to go through PayPal

I’d just put a printout of a duplicate signature inside the book, just folded into a page if you really want to do something.

I just sent them a very long e mail with the link on here reminding them that they (Waterstones / WHsmith and Dolly Parton)  have sold items fraudulantly  and that i didn't want the generic reply of ' we have checked with Dolly's Management and can confirm they are hand signed blah blah blah - rubbish'  as anybody with half a brain looking at the photos can clearly see they are identical and no signature is ever identical - no matter how hard you try to -,so they are clearly fake and autopenned and suggested that  it is shown to the CEO of Waterstones to reply before everybody on here starts to sue them !
