I've ordered from the s couple of times without issue. Maybe hit them up on Facebook messenger or give them a call.  I like small indie bookstores, but emails aren't always the best way to get an answer from rom one in my experience.

I had three separate orders for these books.  Two orders shipped (books 1 and 2), but one order is still showing unfulfilled (books 2 and 3).  I sent an e-mail, but so far no response.  I might try FB message.  I only call as a last resort.

Just got a reply in my email, one of the books I ordered is on back order/publisher delays is the short of it. Nothing about the NPH having issues, just the other I ordered. Maybe the person put the wrong book as the backorder since it has been out for like 2 years and meant the NPH books.

I did receive a response today from them, and they were delayed in receiving the books, but the final 2 that I was waiting for shipped today.  Hopefully yours won't be far behind mine!

I got one of his books at an in-person event pre-COVID.  It's not terrible. But not the best graph I've seen.

Really hope it will also be available in Europe/uk

4 shipping rates available, starting at $54.02 USD.

Just FYI, i was looking at these on ebay last month, watching about 10 and had a few offers. 1 offer was for $9 with free shipping. I still passed

Has anyone gotten this? How's nph's signature? Is it a full signature or just initials?

I got one from there last month.  It was just a bookplate not attached and it has his initials.

Tom Hanks (POSSIBLY???) signed book at Barnes & Noble. When you go to the link it pops up some random untitled book but if you go to the "eBook" edition it actually says the name of the book is "The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece: A novel by Tom Hanks", so not 100% sure this is actually the signed edition but I don't see why it wouldn't be. It also has the same release date listed for when Tom Hank’s book is releasing. https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/untitled-5596-knopf/1142242380?ean...

It's Hanks.  The book has more description up on BAM.(although I didn't see a signed version on BAM yet).

Overview

From the Academy Award-winning actor and best-selling author: a novel about the making of a star-studded, multimillion-dollar superhero action film . . . and the humble comic books that inspired it. Funny, touching, and wonderfully thought-provoking, while also capturing the changes in America and American culture since World War II.

Part One of this story takes place in 1947. A troubled soldier, returning from the war, meets his talented five-year-old nephew, leaves an indelible impression, and then disappears for twenty-three years.

Cut to 1970: The nephew, now drawing underground comic books in Oakland, California, reconnects with his uncle and, remembering the comic book he saw when he was five, draws a new version with his uncle as a World War II fighting hero.

Cut to the present day: A commercially successful director discovers the 1970 comic book and decides to turn it into a contemporary superhero movie.

Cue the cast: We meet the film's extremely difficult male star, his wonderful leading lady, the eccentric writer/director, the producer, the gofer production assistant, and everyone else on both sides of the camera.

Bonus material: Interspersed throughout are three comic books that are featured in the story--all created by Tom Hanks himself--including the comic book that becomes the official tie-in to this novel's major motion picture masterpiece.
