I received a telephone call this afternoon from Nigel at Coles Books. I had been the first to bring the autopen saga to his attention when I called the store last Saturday. His call today was to follow up on our earlier conversation, and to thank me personally for letting him know. He didn’t need to do that, but the call was appreciated nonetheless. Decent guy, with the highest of integrity.
He offered to call me as well. there was an issue with putting the refund through and he wanted to talk about it. I opened a PayPal claim right away just in case and emailed my number, but since I'm in the US, it was easier to communicate thru Email. The PayPal claim allowed him to send the refund. Just some info in case anyone runs into the same issue. Very nice people at Coles.
