Babe Ruth

I'm wondering if anybody can steer me in the right direction to acquire an autographed Babe Ruth cut at a fair price. I know it's going to be expensive, but I would like to know at least where to start researching so I can save my money and get it from somebody who is reputable. There's no way I can afford an autographed baseball, but I would love to at least have a cut with his autograph on it at some point. Thanks !

Those prices seem a bit low for authentic Ruth's...some of them are just down right sloppy...Not taking away from if there authentic or not...they just seem to be pretty sloppy to me...Definitely be patient on this purchase...and research it out to the fullest before adding that piece to your collection...

Rhonda, those Babe Ruth cuts are horrendous. One of the consistent attributes in authentic Ruth signatures is the "u" in Ruth. He commonly made the second upward stroke higher than the first. none of these show that characteristic. and there are other things that would lead one to believe these are forgeries.

Have you guys really looked at the Babe Ruth autograph from that site and read the item description? The site reads "And also includes (2) two Forensic Certificates Of Authenticity."

Rhonda, I'm not a baseball expert by any means, I am just surprised someone hasn't mentioned the following to you.

You would be safe to get opinions from the members here before you buy. Please remember to stay away from any "forensic coa". Especially Chris Morales coas. Also don't buy if an item comes with a STAT or TTA coa. Don't buy from Coaches Corner, it is a private dumping ground for forgers. The baseball / Ruth experts can tell you more, I just wanted to make sure you knew what to look-out for.

AFTER SEEING CHRISTOPHER'S PICTURES I WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING OFF OF THAT SITE....THE ALEX RODRIGUEZ DEREK JETER AND MARIANO RIVERA ARE HORRIFIC FAKES AND NOW THAT HE ADDED NICER BIGGER PICTURES OF THE RUTH'S IN QUESTIONS...I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT BUY ANY AUTOS FROM THAT SITE...THOSE RUTH'S ARE NOT AUTHENTIC...NOT EVEN CLOSE...PROBLEM WITH THOSE ORIGINAL SMALL PICTURES IS I LOOK AT THIS SITE FROM MY PHONE 90% OF THE TIME...BUT THE BIGGER BETTER IMAGES SHOW THAT THERE NO GOOD AND THE PRICES ALSO REFLECT IT WHICH WAS MY FIRST RED FLAG...AND ALSO THE AMOUNT OF THEM IS ANOTHER RED FLAG...
