I understood that the COA certifies there are exactly 3000 signed bundles of this record. Not that there are 3000 records...

COA is kinda weird, I agree, but it's a cool item by Def Leppard nonetheless.

This is true, but am I wrong in that I do not see a picture disc version that doesnt have a signed COA. Meaning there are still only 3000 actual picture disc records.  So its just the wording is wrong and doesn't specifically state these COAs belong with the picture discs even though we know its the only way they were bundled

picture disc still available on uk site without a signed coa .

all seems a bit misleading from the start .

Oh wow, ok.. I was looking at US only. Ill send them an email and see what their response is about it.

Jor-El, I get what you mean. Just never really looked into it deep enough to care until now. Im in the 2nd catagory and cared more about the signatures. Im probably upset more than most people about both Rick's shortened signature instead. You are right overall though and the aspect you mentioned is going to bother me now

I'm not even sure how you can frame these in a good way because of the giant hole in the cover. This is an item I'd like to frame but probably never will, and since I have signed cds coming, I'm going to have to justify to myself why I'd want to keep both. Overall, its a good problem to have but again, you are right.. they should have done this differently

I'm very happy with the CD/Tape Package that just arrived (UK).

Nice signatures and a nice pen.

Here’s mine from Talkshoplive

Just received my LP and not entirely happy with the "signed COA" .. I think it could have been advertised better or more clear in the description.

It is a bit of a letdown for me as well even though I knew it was coming. I didn't expect shortened signatures from both Rick's.. I have a couple cds from their last album signed in gold that arrived smudged. I was close to paying $80 for a version signed in silver just to have a clean piece. Then these popped up and I was certain the COA would at least have nice clean signatures, which they do, but im just not satisfied. The COA as mentioned is a joke, ive emailed UK asking for clarification and they just told me to contact the USA site.. im still waiting for a response... anyways, Its tempting to try and trade with someone for their previous release signed in silver, but I may just make peace with it and move on

A good friend on here told me Rick Savage has signed this way before and pointed out examples of Ricks facsimile signature guitar pick. This is a case of limited research on my end and basing my assumptions on their previous release. I feel better about these COAs in general now aside from what the actual COA represents. regardless, I would have bought the LP even if no autograph was included. The orchestra seems a bit underused for many songs and I feel they missed out on adding some extra power with the symphony, instead using it more in the background, but I'm still happy with the album overall. I've already made peace with the signatures. Regardless of what the COA states, I am thrilled to be able to add this to my collection
