Very nice

I'm confident this would pass professional authentication

I saw a video on Instagram today in which a New York sports-card dealer was being interviewed on a news programme following some fair or other where he was showing off a Mantle card which he had bought - I guess. It was 1980's.

He described it as being mistakenly referred to as a Rookie card when in fact it wasn't. I think he said it was a 59 card whereas a Rookie card would be from 1958.

The point is that he claimed it was worth $35k. 1980's!!!!!!!!

Get this - I had never heard of Mickey Mantle before I joined this forum. If you had offered me a dozen of those for a tenner I would not have been tempted - lol.

Thank you.

That's a printed reproduction.

How can you tell the difference? I have seven signed cards.

They are literally identical which is not humanly possible. Placement as well.

What about this?

All facsimiles. Part of the program = printed.

Yours on top:

Indeed. $20 on Etsy:

Did you buy these items as hand signed?
