Yep, that was their plan all along.  🙄

What you neglected to add was that people whose orders were cancelled will be getting a refund AND a free unsigned CD.  At least that's what their email to me said.

I guess if they never offered signed CDs at all then these disappointments could be avoided.

But you only get the refund WHEN they ship out the free CD. Which makes absolutely no sense. Why wouldn't you issue refunds immediately? You are not getting what you paid for.

It's obviously part of their process to do it all at once.  Maybe the unsigned CDs wunt be delivered to them for another couple weeks.  Maybe they prefer dealing with each order (refund/unsigned CD) at the same time to avoid confusion.

There are obviously some people who will never be happy with TSL no matter what they do, and those people should never order from them.

As for me, if I had to wait another two weeks for the signed version I wouldn't have thought anything of it.  So, I'll be willing to wait another two weeks for a refund and the free unsigned version.

I wonder if it was part of their process to deny my chargeback and then stop responding to me altogether via email without giving me my money back.

*This was for the fake ass Ice-T vinyl they sold me, btw.

The point here is - again - TSL is very good about taking people’s money.

What they havent figured out is the meaning of customer service. And, no, it shouldnt be one guy doing damage control on a public message board.

Hint: Its not ghosting your customers or making them wait untold weeks for a refund when THEY screw up.

But hey, keep rolling the dice. Im sure it will never happen to you. Lol.

This thread is about Kacey Musgraves and a free CD.  You've already posted your Ice-T rant elsewhere.

I've gotten some great signed stuff from TSL that I could never have gotten anywhere else.  Yes, I wish packaging was a little better (I've been lucky so far) and yes I wish postage was cheaper on multiple items, but I'm getting signed items for issue price and no extra charge for the autograph.

If it stops working out for me then I'll stop ordering from them.  It sounds like that's already happened to you so there's no need to concern yourself with them.  Just go to ebay to buy what you are looking for.

Its a thread/theme about how TSL keeps dropping the ball. And you dont have the authority on opinions and/or who gets to post where.

We can leave it there. Unless you want to explain to me how my experience is “obviously part of their process” regarding refunds.

And frankly - with the post being titled what is, I think my experience fits right in just fine here. You dont have to read it.

I don't care what you post and where.

But if you had the same attitude in your dealings with TSL that you have demonstrated here then I'm not surprised they ghosted you.  You're angry and argumentative and accusatory.   Just what a customer service representative wants to deal with.  🙄

Says random guy on internet. Can someone please explain to me what I said here that this guy is so bent out of shape over?

You said, and I quote,  “its obviously part of their refund process”

So explain to us all, how ghosting customers over email, not refunding them for fake autographs, and making people wait for refunds - seemingly going out of their way to make the refund process as painful as possible - is good for customers or business.

Because its gotten worse over time not better. And shining the light on this crap service is how you fix it. Or at the very least make people aware of how they do business.

Being an apologist for them doesnt help. So maybe remove the plank from thine own eye before you point fingers.

Im not the one using the eye roll emoji multiple times in this thread Mr. Manners.

Lol

I see that you quickly deleted a more incendiary and insulting post...

In any case, it is not up to me to explain TSL's handing of your situation, despite your repeated demands that I do so.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with your particular issues.  Any of them.

My comment about "their process" related specifically to the KM issue, yet you have repeatedly taken it out of context.

The OP complained about TSL canceling their order without mentioning the free CD.  I didn't think that was fair and I said so.  Personally, I'm disappointed that I won't be getting a signed CD, but I'm happy as a clam that I will be getting a free CD for my trouble.

That's my opinion, and as you said, you don't have to read it.

Yeah, I called you eye-roll bc of your fondness for using it. But then I thought better about it. But I see how you are and that you have no answer for your words, so Im done with you. I think everybody reading along knows the score.

I think a lot of people lurking here refuse to post their opinion because of comments like this (a few above about customer service) . If TSL wants to make their customer service employees happy, they should do a better job in general. If I had multiple cancelations or was fighting for a refund, I'd be angry and probably would post it on every TSL thread as well. We know they monitor these boards. Just like Premier Collectibles.. I have no problem at all listening to these problems continuously. The only way to make these companies change is to hit them in the wallet and that means making people aware of their antics and what they could be getting themselves into with these purchases.

I've had pretty good luck with TSL so far but im not a fanboy of any company. Just like Premiere, if a company starts slacking with customer service and or overcharging for their products. Ill stop buying.. if they stop responding to me while I'm chasing a refund, you better believe I'd be shouting it to the world.

I really think you need to stay on subject. Not talk about other members opinions/facts in a negative manner. Anyone who is a member should be allowed to speak when a subject is posted. There is no need to butt heads when there really hasn't been anything said that warrants it.
