Member left message on my wall (profile page) wanting me to email them to talk privately

The site has a private message system but instead out of nowhere a user has asked me to send them an email to the email address they left me on my page wall on my profile.

Is this something others have seen on here?

Same here. Searching the email shows they've been posting the same message on many random website's profile pages in english and spanish.
