I find the whole fake Bowie circus upsetting, Eric, so I’ve been taking a backseat on these threads for some time now. I occasionally get drawn in by the temptation to add historical context, or to share some personal memory or other, but I don’t want to get into the whole Andy Peters thing again. Sorry.

If it’s a fake, it’s a very good one indeed. If you’re unsure, and can’t trace the provenance back to before David’s death, then my advice is to walk away from it and not to look back.

Well, Autographic saw it in 2014 and passed it - I am having Garry King take a peek again in light of the Tsunami of Ford forgeries we have seen. Thank you for commenting.

I thought you said Autografica sold it in 2014. If there is not a documented reputable sales history before being sold by Peters/Ford, don't buy it. It's provenance will be tainted forever by his fraud.

Looks like 2014 on the LOA shown in the listings (see link). Maybe verify with Autografica if any hesitations?

Seller has offered a couple of other Bowie items recently with Autografica LOAs accompanying them.

I think it is ok, it is very fluid, written speedily with a dedication, and the person probably spelled his name, as it looks like Bowie wrote Jul es...
