I honestly have no idea.  He's one of those actors that worked in Hollywood for YEARS, before The Hangover was his big break. 

I have 2 cast signed posters (from the press junkets) for The Hangover Part II, and The Hangover Part III and BOTH posters, his signature was in a dead-ish type Black Sharpie.
