I have a set of Beatles autographs obtained in 1965 by my father. He worked for the U.S. Immigration Service and met them while they were en route to the Bahamas to film sequences for the movie Help. Authenticity is not an issue, but I have a problem. In an effort to protect the signatures, my sister (they were obtained for her but she recently gifted them to me) partially laminated them (peel and affix laminate). Does anyone know of a service that can remove this laminate without damaging the document. I've read about DIY fixes (hair dryer, iron etc.) but am leery of trying them. any Help would be appreciated (pun intended).

I bet there were a few times the Beatles signed multiples for one person ("I need one for my son, oh...and one for my aunt, she's a big fan, and one for..."). Although that was probably pretty rare.
I've told this story before on here, but...I met an old guy at a party. He worked in the film industry (I forget in what capacity). I asked the movies he worked on. A few I had heard of, most I had not. He told me he'd often keep items from the set, and he has a storage unit filled with them. When he said he worked on a Beatles movie (I forget which one), I told him he should've gotten autographs. He said, "I did. I had them all sign my guitar. And then a few days later, I thought -- this was an old guitar I had been using for years. I should buy a brand new one, and have them sign that. It would look nicer. So a few days later, I brought a new guitar to the set for them to sign."
He has them both in a storage unit, and believe me,, I tried to get him to retrieve them. God only knows what kind of condition they're in.
But...the point of that story is -- sometimes people do have stories like this, even though we've never heard of it happening before, or it's so, so, so rare for a signed Beatles guitar to even exist. Now, that being said...the OP should just post a damn picture! Not so much for us to say yay or nay, but just so we can see them.
Yes, I know they were generous especially in the early years. I have read about 2 sets and multiple items signed (usually by individuals), but can find nothing about 4 sets for one person. It seems to be an exceptionally rare occurrence, but certainly possible. I too would love to see them. 4 back to back examples for each signed inside of what was likely 30-45 minutes would be awesome.
The did sign multiple sets for David Brook, in 1963. Brook owned a mobile disco in Essex and had strong connections in the music industry in the 1960s. The sets were signed in a photographic folder in Essex. I have seen 3 folders to date. The autographs are top notch.
I am sure they are tops! These would be interesting because of the back-to-back nature, if they are not secretarial.
Ah! I was just about to post the same sort of thing :-)
The OP story reminds me of a story about a motorcycle policeman who was assigned as one of the motorcade escorts for the Beatles during their stay in Portland in 1965.
Apparently, John asked him if there was anything that he wanted. He told him his daughter was a big fan and she had just bought the new Help Lp. So the Policeman brought the Lp with him and had the group sign it.
Years later the mother of the daughter decided to sell the Lp to help with the cost of her daughter’s university fees. She approached Frank Caiazzo and Frank had the unpleasant task of telling her the Lp was signed by Neil Aspinall. A very nice set of autographs and if she had decided to sell them sooner she may have done it at the time when the big auction houses were selling Neil’s signatures as the real deal.
I ended up buying it from her and still have it today.
+100 Exactly.
If I’m not mistaken I believe we had a discussion about another person receiving multiple sets from a Steward or Stewardess on a flight with the Beatles. Anybody recall that discussion?
I remember a story that a writer was going to interview the 4 of them in 1964...and he brought along a Beatles magazine loaded with color photos...(might have been "Fabulous")...He showed it to them before the interview started...and by the end of the interview...they had signed every picture in the magazine...together and solo. It was in one of the many auction catalogs that I have going back to the 1980's...
It may not help this particular discussion (and I agree it would be helpful to see the autographs in question) but, from my time researching some early Beatles shows, I do know a gentleman who obtained four sets of genuine autographs on the same night (for himself and for his girlfriend at the time) - though this was in late 1962, prior to their huge success.
