Axl Rose graphic novel with signed Bookplate

First time post, long time lurker

finally joined the boards so I could share this.

Axl Rose graphic novel with a bunch of swag. Need to get Tier 5 to get the autograph. A little pricey but I haven’t seen a Axl here before. Maybe there has been one.

Anyone get theirs yet? Curious how it looks. Maybe its because its on an odd item. I'd like to get one but really dont want any of the junk that comes with it, and don't want to deal with selling it (if its even worth anything). But good way to get his autograph for sure if you dont mind what its on.

So, I am trying to cancel this preorder. It's not something I necessarily want to do, but I'm in a tight spot with potentially being laid off from work. So, I need to cancel some preorders and free up money.

Anyway, the vendor Sumerian Comics is refusing to cancel my preorder, claiming that all limited edition items purchases are final 24 hours after the sale date. I see it now posited at the bottom of the tab in the listing.

Just an FYI. Even though the item has not shipped and won't until January, and also with what appears to be stock available on the site, I can't get it cancelled.

You can try a chargeback, but it might not work, given the language was explicit. You never know.

Yup, chargeback is only option. I'm not 100% sure but there might be rules on charging you on a pre-order before the item is shipped and keeping the money, unless its a deposit, but i could be wrong. I half ass remember reading that or someone telling me something about it but do your own research before listening to me.

Either way cc companies usually side with their customer (you) when you do chargebacks. So likely it doesnt matter what anyone says they'll just refund the money.

You can also tell the company if you dont get a refund youll do a chargeback and sometimes they'll just do it to not have to deal with the hassle.

Also if you file you get the money back right away while they investigate. So if you need it asap that would get it back no matter what for you to use right now. Small chance theyd recharge you if you lost the chargeback but youd still have the money to spend now and worry about later when you may be in a better position.

My guess is its on a weird item, most ppl want signed photos or vinyls or cd covers, not comic books... and that it comes with so much junk that many ppl dont want. That was my reason for not ordering anyway. I dont like wasting stuff so wouldnt want to just throw it away and don't like dealing with selling stuff so id end up throwing it in my closet for 10 yrs. But hey maybe itll be worth more by then lol

Might be worth $450 in 10 years with the autograph, to go along with inflation. And by then, eBay will want 25% haha.

If sumarian didn't have such a weird policy, more collectors would probably have took a chance. No one knows if this will be a full autograph, the stock item shown is just a mockup.
