I purchased this 78 vinyl record purportedly signed by Billie Holiday from an RACC trusted seller. I recently submitted the item to JSA for authentication, and unfortunately it did not pass.
I originally submitted it in person at a show here in CA a few weeks ago, and I was disappointed by how carelessly the item was handled during intake. When I received it back, there were fingerprints all over it. I contacted JSA immediately to report the condition, and they did expedite the review process.
Yesterday I received their letter confirming that the autograph did not pass authentication. I’m extremely disappointed and unsure what my next step should be, or if anyone here might be able to offer advice.
Prior to purchasing the item, I did my research and examined the signature characteristics—such as the looping of “Billie” and the shape of the “H” in “Holiday.” However, upon further inspection, the signature appears to have been written in ballpoint pen. Additionally, the Blue Ace label is known to be a bootleg label, and this particular pressing seems to have been released slightly before the time of her passing.

No, this was the RACC Facebook group.
Say, did they do #16? The RACC Logo and TS number were displayed in your auction?
Did you fill out this?
I think I did see a video on here once explaining that eBay allows sellers to have negative feedback removed if they generate a lot of business.
Ryan, I presume you gave the seller plenty of opportunity to rectify the situation before leaving feedback. On the very rare occasions that I've not been happy with an eBay buy, I've only had to "open a case" and the seller has been very responsive.
On this matter, I decided to go through my bank to dispute.
Several times. No response
How do they get it removed?
Hi JK, the listing opens for me on eBay.com. The seller's higher priced items do not have COAs, apart from one which has a "RACC COA" - not sure what that is. The top-priced item (without COA) is a night club table card signed by Frank Sinatra, which is $1,900 or best offer. With all due respect to Frank and his fans, I would have thought that the Holiday 78 would have been priced considerably higher than Frank's table card but the price was actually $1,000 or best offer.
Also has Home Alone script $25,000
That one I don't see. Maybe because I'm not in the US and there is some special shipping clause for that item. I often don't see items that are later discussed on forums such as this one.
