Just because Steve signed the rejection letter doesn't mean he's the one they reviewed the autographs  PSA has several sports authenticators and one or more of them obviously seen something they didn't like . Why didn't you call PSA and ask for a review? I'm curious do you still have copies of the autographs? If you do load them to this site so you can can get other opinions.

They’re actually music autographs, and I still have them. I don’t collect sports autographs. The opinions I received were from members of this site. If you call PSA and ask for a review, they tell you that you can resubmit it for the same fee as when it was originally submitted. At least they did at that time.

About Music i think Epperson are the best.

I have never used a third-party authenticator in my life but I've often wondered what happens when an item with contradictory TPA opinions is put up for sale. I presume the seller would not be obliged to disclose the differing opinions to potential buyers or auction houses but it is a rather delicate area.

In a fairly recent discussion about a 78 record that had allegedly been signed by Billie Holiday two TPAs were against it (JSA and Grad) and one for it (Epperson). In such a case could a seller or auction house really only refer to the Epperson certificate without mentioning the other opinions?

And now added to the mix I see SWAU is offering a quick opinion on line service for only 5.00!  I saw it advertised on Facebook this morning.  SWAU is good for private signings but did not know they authenticate outside items.

Would love to own the Beatles autograph

If Epperson and Grad worked together to authenticate music it would be hell to get a forgery through.

well this is interesting.  Roger gave this a thumbs up a while back.  Grad just gave me not likely genuine.  Im kind of shocked because to me this is a slam dunk real 1956 Elvis autograph.  As you stated I try to get both to approve to remove any doubts of a forgery

Contact Grad directly by email and ask him why he failed it. I know nothing about music autographs but I do know if you email Steve Grad he will personal return the email.

No it looks like another expense to do this:

If you’d like to discuss your item in greater detail, Steve Grad is available for one-on-one consulting. Whether you have questions about an autograph, a collection, authentication concerns, or simply want expert guidance, we’re happy to help.

Consultation fees start at $299 for a 30-minute session.

Either you’re very unlucky or we’re going to have to rethink the 99% accuracy rate.

You think its a good Elvis?
