Michael, if you are not selling it, why do you need a COA?  If Tracks says its good, as a collector, that would be more than adequate for my peace of mind.  If you want a COA, you could try PSA/DNA or JSA.

Exactly! The replies you received serve the exact same purpose as a COA.  If the opinionators actually authenticated the signature on it's own merrits, then it will be as authentic 100 years from now as it was when they replied to you.

An email response from a well regarded expert is of equal ( if not greater ) standing than a simple COA.

Remember, a COA does not make the opinion of the expert become fact.

Brandon, I don't think so. I want a COA from a well known dealer or company. I want a COA with the picture of the signature on it.
The e-Mail ist just good for me, not for anyone else. If I am a villain (I'm not) I can put the e-Mail to any other McCartney signature.
I would like the COA for the future. Maybe I "MUST" sell it in 20 years or my son wants to sell in 40 years.
I'm with you Michael. You are doing everything you can to ensure your piece is authentic. I do admire you for that. I'm not buying that piece from you because you say someone told you it was good. Or you show me an email. You couldn't fake an email? Most people here don't like stickers. But a PSA/DNA sticker sure would look good to me on there. (as long as it was bottom right and placed horizontally) Good luck Michael.

Please let it be known that I did not ever say he did not sign like this in 1989.  I also did not give this a negative rating, what I did say was that I do not authenticate signatures that just say "Paul".  There is not enough writing for me to make a 100% call.  That is just my policy.

Also if Tracks says they like it, it's as good as gold in my opinion.

Roger, sorry if I am wrong. I don't know the exactly words of your opinion. Unfortunately I have deleted your e-Mail. But fact is your opinion was negative. Look at the e-Mail to me, if you have it in your send messages. It Must be send in September last year. I have paid 15$ for the opinion at 29. September 2011. Best Regards Michael

No I don't keep them that long but that was around the time I decided not to do "Paul" signatures anymore unless I saw it signed.  Maybe it was this one that persuaded me to do this I don't remember though.  It is just very difficult for me to give a 100% thumbs up with such little writing.  If there is an inscription or some other writing like in your book then I will do it.  I do believe that you sent this to RR Auction too if memory serves me right.  I have told them and JSA too that I won't do "Paul" signatures anymore just like I won't do Nivana because of their first name only signatures.  Some other bands that sign first names I will do but I have my reasons for these few bands.  Hope this clears it up.  I again have to say that if Tracks says it's fine it's good as gold in my book.  They are as sharp as it comes.  Maybe they knew who got it signed?

Thank you Roger!

Hi - i think this was signed in 1989 at Mensch Meier. I say genuine.

This Paul is 100% genuine, he sometimes signed (and still does) first name only if he knew the recipient personally, please do not worry there is no issues here.
