Here's another typical example of another Mickey Mantle forgery on a photograph with a COA from GFA (Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators).
This Mickey Mantle forgery is listed by Ebay seller Dejoebid11.
This crap is usually purchased cheap at local auctions, estate sales, etc., and then listed on Ebay to be sold for a profit.
This crap is also purchased by people who know ZERO about autographs. Their only interest is in flipping this garbage for a profit, while at the same time, infecting the hobby with forgeries.
Most of this garbage is listed for sale at a website called www.atauction.com

Here is an example of a Mickey Mantle forgery listed right now (June 23, 2013) on www.atauction.com

I just checked that site out. Every Mantle item they had that I saw was a fake at www.atauction.com
Yes, Erich, every Mickey Mantle autograph on that website is a forgery.
Seeing that Steve Rocchi (GFA) took over the certing duties for AtAuction (formerly www.alwaysatauction.com). Rocchi took over from Chris Morales, Ted Taylor and Drew Max.
The auction company knows these are forgeries. As long as they get a anybody claiming to be an authenticator to state its real they are convinced they are protected from wrongdoing. No ethics at all.
I agree, Rick. We have both agreed on this issue a long time ago and the crap is still going on.
It started with AlwaysAtAuction and Chris Morales, Ted Taylor and Drew Max.
Now it's AtAuction and Steve Rocchi (GFA).
