I saw a guy post an ad saying he's looking to sell his memorabilia collection. I met up with him to see a few items and EVERYTHING is from ACE. The worst problem? People in my area (downtown Toronto) are thinking his garbage is real and are buying it. Jordan signed jerseys for $350, Lebron signed photos for $30, Ali signed gloves for $50. All this crap is flooding the market. When I ask how he obtained it, he said auction houses. He sent me an e-mail of an auction house stating that they believe in ACE and he told me it was from Heritage Auctions. I looked it up and I never found Heritage Auctions using ACE. Kept on looking and found "Live Sports Auctions" that has the EXACT same crap he sells. What's funny is that he told me he's selling off his collection, but he continues to get more. Their "monthly" auction recently ended and he just put up some new ads.

People just refuse to think that if it seems too good to be true then it probably is. The scary thing is how much money they are making and this guy as well. The auction site looks like they've stolen their layout from Goldin auctions who only sell certified items by PSA, Steiner etc.
the first thing that stands out about these Rivera balls and its very typical with forgeries, is that they are not official MLB baseballs
ace autograph authentication is a complete joke and the owners should be arrested for helping these forgers pass these forgeries off as authentic.
I love the phrase they use in all their auctions: The autograph includes an official hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.
"Authenticity purposes" doesn't even make sense, and I believe it is the same dumb term Coach's Corner uses.
You would think this forger would atleast *attempt* to scribble "ivera"
I'm surprised these star athletes aren't more proactive on fighting forgeries of their name.
Justin Priddy must be really proud of himself to be thought of in the same vein as Chris Morales and Ted Taylor.
How much do you suppose they get in exchange for selling their name and credibility to the lowest bidder? About $2 a cert?
