Christopher Reeve Autograph 8x10 Signed Authentic W/Coa http://r.ebay.com/2AKAMt
I messaged him and he was totally offended and asked me to take it up with JSA. I said ok give me the JSA verification # and he refused (it's not viewable in posting). Just a confirmation of what I already knew. I've seen hundreds of Reeve signatures and own a dozen. This is definitely NOT one of them.
Please help get these guys off eBay and if you are knowledgeable in the area of Reeve, please report.
LOL. So true.
Let's take a look at the tried and true favorites from sellers of suspect material. Anyone care to rank them in order of most popular?
Don't forget typing everything in caps and making excessive use of "LOL" when it's apparent that you've been outed as a crook.
Yeah he just patronized me by saying, "you're the expert, why should I give you the verification number?"
...and then he asked if I needed a diaper. At that point I realized even more what I was dealing with.
LOL
The diaper insult is a new one, but quite original. Keep an eye on it... It could catch on with proper use, e.g., "You're no autograph big daddy. In fact, you sound like you need a diaper."
Does he have up a picture of the JSA cert? It sounds like he doesnt, and that is a violation of ebays policy. Or at least i am fairly certain of it, and his auction can be yanked for it. When i used to sell on ebay, i had a few items taken down that had PSA or JSA certs. When i called to ask why, i was told that i needed to have the actual COA pictured, if i advertised it had one. Otherwise they would be taken down. Maybe that can be used to get this guys items removed.
Hi Bradford, hope your doing well. And thanks for sticking your throat out to expose this. The only way that i know to report items on ebay is a tired process that doesnt seem to get responses anymore, but its better than nothing.
Once you pull up the sellers auction, before the item description, look in the right corner of the page. In blue letters you will see the options of Print, or Report item. These are located right above the ebay item number. Once you click on report item you can report if for various reasons depending on the infraction. I always use the counterfeit item complaint box.
You may already know how to do this, but its the only way i am aware of to report a listing infraction. Ebay used to actually be fairly good about taking action against things like this. Nowadays though, it hardly is worth the time. In my opinion, there is an EMR member who dislikes this site and targets its members on purpose.
Seller ended it, I think he saw your article and realised that claiming he had a COA would expose his lies, nice work!
