I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole! Even if real, which I very much doubt, it is ugly. You'll have to look hard for John. Sold by Cooper Owen today but I don't know for how much (est. £3-4k).

It looks like something that would be offered by Coach's Corner.

Lots of bad forgeries in this auction -- and they are supposed to be one of the "legit" ones!

Cooper-Owen was a great auction house...Lennon lyrics...(All You Need Is Love)...sold for over 1 million...the organ Lennon played at Shea in 1965....Lennon owned and worn clothing...etc. I saw this when their auction went

online....can't understand how this crap got through....does look like something from Coach's Corner...

That piece of garbage has a COA from Myron Ross of Heroes and Legends, the Will Rogers of autographs. He's never met one he didn't like.

Luckily this joke of a piece didn't reach its reserve so it "passed". Let's hope it "passes" for good.
