Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

Here are some current examples:

Or how about this crazy possibility:

These are forgeries, the people behind them know they are forgeries, the people authenticating them know they are forgeries, and they're making a bunch of money.

Seems pretty simple to me.

R&R sold quite a few and will no doubt be paying out refunds.  I would love to know who consigned them, although I'm quite sure I already do.

It's called "Busted"!  I hope it was worth the money.

Why would Roger suddenly ruin his name by doing that after years of working hard to earn his good reputation? It's been shown that illegitimate authenticated have a limited profitable life.
There is more to this story than most people can piece together. Wascher has been tremendous and the informatuon we share with each other only strengthens one thing here: memorabilia vault did not do their due diligence and confirm these actually came from corey feldman himself. That is where a large part of this could have been avoided before they willingly sold and took money from others. I am in the early process of legal action and i wont stop. As a victimized collector i have had enough!
Prashant, did you buy any drawings? Can you show us what and from who?

Yes I did...I will send photos once I receive them from PAAS...they are among the many drawings being examined by Mike Frost.

7 of them were bought from Memorabilia Vault.  If you look back I had tremendous confidence in them...enough to defend them.  I honestly don't know what to think anymore except deceived and cheated.

Listen...I am just a collector who loves Michael Jackson related material, period.  Am I an expert?  No.  But that is where as a collector I put my trust in those that have the experience and expertise to guide me in making the right purchase.  Right now I feel like I have lost tremendous confidence in the collecting world and deceived.

And thank you for your support John...very kind of you.

Prashant
Just curious, why would you send it to PAAS?
Are they reputable?

I sent to Mike Frost/PAAS because I have had good success with them in the past and I knew that Mike Frost had strong connections with those that could help legitimize the drawings/signatures.

I only know PAAS from this forum. What do you mean by good success?
I'm not getting at you or anything I am legitimately curious as I have never even thought about using PAAS

I would have thought psa or jsa would have been a given to send them to

Prashant,

I feel for you. I sincerely hope you get everything back you lost in this mess. It is an awful situation and feeling when you put your trust in a company and/or an authenticator and end up being cheated. This happens too often in the autograph market. Stay diligent and good luck.

Chad,

Appreciate the kind words, honestly.  I know I am not the only one out there.  I will outline my entire story into a logical and conscise manner that will show how all of this unfolded for me...especially the idea of building trust with those you rely upon in good faith.

Honestly John...who knows anymore if we can say that autograph is real or not...and I am being sincere in saying that.
