Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')
I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures' or 'Disney characters'.
Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

If I remember correctly John...6 came with full COAs. I will have to check on that to be certain. Nevertheless, they were legitimate COAs of Roger Epperson.

Eddie is Eddie Anderson, who we all thought a great guy. Except he was always posting "please help me" posts like he was in a hurry to buy... and the ones that caught my attention lately were the ones with "wonky i's" like the ones on some of this artwork. Here is the thread I brought up earlier: http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/urgent-help-with-mj-... I believe whomever he was getting these from - are part of this entire situation.... if not Eddie himself. Plus Eddie had 3 or 4 pieces now of some of these drawings--- 1 or 2 face drawings, red Charlie Chaplain, the young Elizabeth and the Blue Shirley Temple. I have no idea how he supposedly died............ but he logged in not too long ago, so I doubt he's dead. Maybe he'll show up and explain.... (or Max could?)

No clue but it would not surprise me if they passed. Look at how well Ericks do on the market (if you've followed that thread of mine on another loser fraud MJ autograph/artwork conman, he's had every TPA out there pass his garbage. :(

I'd be surprised if the Mickey with the Michael hair and glove passed. While it isn't the clearest pic, the signature appears more slowly and shakily drawn than some of the other examples you've shown. The signature itself looks like a sketch. I would hope that they would look past the COA.

That Erik's drawings are sooo ugly ! First he was all innocent asking our opinons on if they were genuine or not like he was a fan. but that was all part of his dumb ploy so he could get away with his scam !

Good analogy. The thing I'm having a bit of a time with though is that everyone wants to point their fingers at the tpa's. When clearly we have dealers who are not telling the full legit story to them - giving them a believable provenance without the "whoops it didn't really come directly from them". Its only when fans come in and say whoa wait, these are tracings, these are bad, these are nothing like Michaels, that it gets snared. And then the dealers start telling the truth on things. And then looking closer at the sig it shows a huge deviation on several styles of the autograph itself. The worst part is, since this has started I've traced many of these back to long before MV started getting involved (as could be seen by some of them being shown in a thread by Eddie).
To actually sit down and try to find now - everything that went through directly involved with these folks is going to be quite a task.

Wascher - if there's one thing I've learned while being a member of this forums it's authenticate the autograph not the provenance
It's said over and over on this forum don't believe any story you are told rely on the autograph so I don't see why Epperson isn't being held more accountable when if it had been psa that passed these they would be getting crucified
