Hello,
I was the high bidder for this on ebay a few weeks ago, only because the signatures seemed legit to me. They're signed on what looks like a page from an old autograph book. Appear to be real signatures, the Curly signature has some bleed-through. The photo did scan a lot more vividly than it appears in person.
Anyway, I ended up sending it to PSA/DNA for authentication because honestly I felt it was a slam dunk, but they said it's not genuine (atypical letter slant, irregular letter shape, lacks conviction, etc.). Needless to say I was disappointed because to me the signatures pretty much match the samples I've seen, but PSA's track record is shaky at best - and I'm certainly no expert. If it's fake it seems to me like a good one.
Hi,
Can you post the exemplars you are using?
Eric
Royalty indeed! Great story.
I tend to agree with PSA on this one. the Larry is definitely off, the slant on the "o" in Moe appears off, the Curly is close but its also fairly easy to forge.
In a hobby where opinions matter, nothing is a slam dunk.

I agree with you, with rare exception.
Yeah, it's definitely embarrassing to admit my over-confidence.
