Anyone?

I'm not familiar with them. The autographs I saw and knew looked fine to me but I wonder if they're still actively in business? Their $8.95 Priority Mail shipping charge is low. It's an old site, last updated in 2010. They offer a lifetime guarantee of authenticity based on PSA, JSA and GAI. All looks good till GAI, but at one time they were respected.

Why don't you contact them through their site, find out who the owner is, ask for trade references, etc.?

I just looked at a lot of their pages. All look good to me, even though I've never heard of the company.

Thanks, Josh and Steve.  I've had my eye on a piece on there for awhile.  I've written twice with questions but no response.  Kind of odd.

I wonder if it’s a domain to sell consignment pieces? I have seen that 1927 MGM piece signed by Chaney, Garbo and all the other MGM silent stars kicking around for the past 20 years multiple different places. Also, prices are a little weird (like some people wanting way more money than what their piece is worth). A Chad Everett for $119! That’s more than Frederic March, Fred MacMurray and some other Classic actors on there. Other prices are reasonable like the dual Bogart and Bacall with JSA certification.

HistoryForSale also has one of those MGM photos signed by Garbo, Chaney, etc..  I believe Tom Kramer had one as well at one point.  I seem to recall the story was that these were given out as souvenirs to theater exhibitors who were in town for an MGM sponsored convention to promote the studio's product.  They are really cool!

I always seem to come across that photo and all the signatures always appear to be placed in the same place making me think it was the same piece over and over. It’s definitely my holy grail piece for film.

Me too!  Look closely, though....the ones on Leading Lights and HistoryForSale are different.  If you buy the one, I'll buy the other! LOL

Lol! Etienne, I have been eyeing that piece up for 20 years here and there. I saw it drop to about 4K one time but my wife would have killed me. I learn something new everyday, didn’t realize there were multiples floating around of such a rare piece. I did know they went out to the exhibitors but I figured not many survived.

The one on History is the one I regularly see and is much nicer and signed by more stars. That’s the one I want.

UPDATE:  I'm pleased to report back that I made a successful purchase from Leading Lights Autographs .  The item I bought was at what I consider a fair price and was sent the next business day via Priority Mail and made it to me safe and sound.  It's exactly as described and 100% authentic.

They did say that they are looking at doing a total website overhaul since the look of it hasn't been updated in quite a while.

The problem now is they have a few other things I like (but must exercise restraint!).

I recently bought a Harry Bartell Autograph from them. They reached out very quickly to my questions and sent my item very fast.
