I bought this roughly 35 years ago, give or take a year or two.  I bought it from a reputable dealer and I am sure that he was convinced it was authentic, but I'd like to get some preliminary opinions before I look to have SZ give a formal opinion.  I'm hoping my chances are good because this would have been signed back when NA still signed TTM and his autograph wasn't particularly valuable.

The item that is signed is a late 19th century stereoview card.

Thanks for any feedback on it.

I think that’s authentic. Definitely not autopen and it looks just like his signature should. Nice piece. Congrats!

Nice piece! Send it off to Zarelli Space.  I don't think you'll be disappointed.

send to to Steve Zarelli for quick opinion, he is the best with Space autos

Thx for the comments so far.  I'll probably do an email opinion first and then arrange for a full letter if that goes well.

Another thing that occurred to me is that this might qualify as being one of the earliest photographs of the moon that NA signed.

It certainly has to at least be one of the earliest photos of the moon Armstrong signed. Just a crazy cool piece.

I'm not a qualified space signature guy.  But, WOW, that's cool!

Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for the comments and encouragements.  Based on the initial feedback here I did the email review at Zarelli Space and it already came back as "likely to pass full authentication".  😀

I'll work on getting a full authentication.

now that is classy
