Has anyone out there experienced a time when JSA told you a real signature is a fake? I know that they have certified questionable signatures as real. Just wondering.

I find your reply quite interesting.

"but the crowds I run in just have to have them or they just don't believe it's real and will not buy."

These people know you? And your qualifications? And they still don't believe you?

You are running with the wrong crowd. I have never run into a serious collector who doesn't do their homework first regardless of a sticker or not.

+!. I will never buy, sell or suggest anything with vandalism/free advertising/sticker. If someone asks me to evaluate a stickered item, the same work is involved and the sticker ignored. The lack of a sticker had never been an issue a sale for me with sales.

Jerk?

Jerk?

I asked you questions because they were warranted.  You called out JSA through this whole discussion for not authenticating a real item.  Then you say at the end that they tried to hire you and once they saw how great you were, they decided not to.  And then added "probably a blessing"

I've agreed with all the points made but this is a bizarre thread.

How could any of us answer the "question" about did JSA get it wrong (or call it a fake) when you never posted the item??????  You simply called them out.  And you and I both know they don't send out letters that say "fake" so I asked you to post the letter too.  If your going to be picky about how you discuss autographs and how people have to be experts, so am I.  I'm a moderator on this forum and I try to be fair to everyone, so if your calling JSA out, I asked if you would post the item and letter. Simple as that!

Calling me a Jerk is a fast way to get the boot btw.  Just a heads up.

Then I truly apologize for the comment and the site. It was my presumption that you were questioning my motive for making my posts and adding innuendo as to my supposed feelings for JSA. Therefore, my bad.

Wascher is one of the most respected members of this community with her vast knowledge of MJ autographs.

Calling her a "jerk" is not very professional or nice.

That's wonderful, then why not ask instead of implying scenarios to a statement. The implication of their statement was demeaning as well, that is not nice or professional either.

But it's still not name-calling.

And if you're going to call out JSA, then why not post a photo of the autograph in question?

That's what we do here.

You could tell the direction this was heading a few pages back.  Typical to come here, make a claim, Forensic Document Examiner, yada yada yada.  Start an argument, back up the scheming crooks, bash the TPA's, never back up your claims, then start the name calling.  Is there an official playbook that I'm not aware of?

You may be correct Sir. I have apologized.

Dr. Shuler,

Please post the autograph you think they got wrong.

And perhaps the why as you see it.
