eBay Seller lburnette Offers Doors “Signed” Debut LP From Antiquities With Banned Frangipani COA

This Doors “signed” debut LP is currently for sale from eBay seller lburnette at a BIN price of $9,000. It includes COAs from Antiquities of California and Donald Frangipani, whose name appears on eBay’s list of banned COAs. In my opinion, this is not authentic and is typical of what you see from Antiquities.

There are currently no known Morrison-signed copies of the debut LP.

Laura,

Tagging is what post authors should do in these situations, but since it sounds like you rarely sell autographs, I removed the tag.

If you have other autographs you'd like to sell, please feel free to get opinions on authenticity before you list them in our "Is This Autograph Real?" forum:

https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/categories/is-this-autogra...

We love it when sellers try to only sell genuine autographs, far too many sellers don't, and we are happy to help make sure you do.

This is my first and last time.  Never knew other collectors could be so rude.  Thank you for removing the tag.  As I said before, the listing is ended.  I still think the ballroom guy could have handled this in a better way, and that needs to be addressed, the rudeness, when guidance should have been offered.

Please remove my stolen pictures.

The pictures stay. The tag should have stayed. If you're seen selling forgeries again I'll put it back up.

The pictures aren't stolen. We're allowed to use them under fair use copyright laws. It's how we protect collectors.

AGAIN, this is the first and last time I will ever list memorabilia.  You don't need to threaten me.

Did you do ANY research before listing? There were many reasons to do so...

+1 very much so, Re Ballroom and Steve.

bought in good faith=not a problem. but are you selling in good faith? $9k? if real that would be worth a lot more. A LOT more.

Laura,

I hate to say it but your Doors album is a blatant forgery in my opinion. And it's certified by Don Frangipani. That says it all to me.

That is fine.  I'll take it down and keep it.  I don't need all of the hate mail that I'm getting.  I posted the album in good faith.  I want this article taken down.

The article is staying up. No one slandered you.

I think you perceive me as a seller of forgeries.  It would have been nice if ballroom guy had offered guidance instead of abuse.
