Ebay Seller Rubio210_0 500 Homerun Club Mickey Mantle Autographed Baseball Hilarious Forgeries Gotta Read

Check out the below set of ugly, putrid-looking and hilarious set of "500 Homerun Club" forgeries listed by Ebay seller Rubio210_0.

The below set of poorly-executed and ugly "500 Homerun Club (Mickey Mantle, Reggie Jackson, Hank Aaron, Ted Williams, etc)" listed by Ebay seller Rubio210_0 come with an interesting item description.

Ebay seller Rubio210_0 writes "Please do not let the lack of a COA deter from bidding on this awesome ball."

That is hilarious.....

But, Ebay seller Rubio210_0 also writes "Real collectors know these are legit signatures."

That is even more hilarious!!!!

This is why sellers of forgeries list crap like this on EBay; they know the suckers and wannabe autograph collectors will purchase their forgeries.

And that's why Ebay has profited millions from the sales of forgeries for the past twenty years!!!

And as long as Ebay continues to allow sellers of forgeries to pollute our autograph hobby, we will continue to expose them.

Here are those ugly "500 Homerun Club" forgeries listed by Ebay seller Rubio210_0.

Who is the "Splendid Splitter"?  Not quite familiar with that one.

The only "Splendid Splinter" I know is  Baseball HOFer ,retired Boston Red Sox,  Ted Williams.  He also had a few other nicknames too.

Don - I know who Ted Williams was.  Try reading my post again and maybe you'll get the joke.

John ,LOl , I had no doubt that you knew but one joke deserved another.:)  I have been finding out on Ebay ,that persistence by a group of collectors can knock off the garbage.I think when people get rejection right away ,they just crumble. That is the easiest way out.I know one of the people who was involved in bringing down the rings of forgers in "Operation Bullpen" .What this person went thru for some one to listen to him was daunting.IMO ,the bringing down the 13 plus rings of forgers was a turning point for the autograph collecting hobby,no matter in who you collect.

John, I am a Red Sox fan and I wish this past year ,we had the "Splendid Splitter"

Blake swihart? Sorry if I spelled his last name wrong....he's the next coming? What about Michael Chavis? I know no one will be as good as Williams but those two and mookie look like the future and Im a Brewers fan!

When did Ernie Banks change his name to Erin Bays and who is Reggie Jordan?  Is Willie Mays signing his name as Steve Map these days?

On Ebay- no COA.buyer beware? Real Deal?  Action Packed 1D thanks Ken,

Wow those are horrible. I've been following jeter since 1993 and never seen anything like it. However I did just recently purchase a photo that I'm gonna send in for the heck of it as I didn't have the photo signed but it raised my eyebrows because of how close the sig is. But from what I've seen of the newer autos is the style I purchased. I know people are gonna be like if you questioned it or know his auto then why ask....well jeters autograph has changed from his early yrs to his rookie year/championship seasons then you have a shorter auto. Ive actually got two I could use someone's opinion on as one was purchased on eBay and one was sent to Yankee Stadium in 97. Here's the pic of the card I sent to jeter in 97. My only concern is, was it signed by a clubhouse member like mantle used to do? The Derek just throws me off. Thoughts?

And everything flows perfectly in the signature.
One thing about jeters early autos is he did sign jeter out! However it didn't have such spacing from the first D thru the rest of the name.
Here's the photo I got before I signed up here or even heard of the site. Thoughts? It's fully guaranteed hence I took the chance! Guy said he got it 10 or so years ago! Guess my concern was the shortness of the auto but flows & doesn't stop. Any feedback would be appreciated!
