Rock and Roll Collection Concerns [Title revised by moderator]

I see this site brought up a lot on this site for autograph references.

http://www.rockandrollcollection.com/

problem is, who ever this Stephan is he has a load of forgeries up here too. I get messages from people from time to time saying he has offered to sell a member here an item or two and it is never the real stuff imo, it is usually the fake stuff. Greed. He wants money but doesn't want to part with the good stuff.

Eagles are his most famous work. Attached is a screen shot of his fake work (not limited too). Notice how they are the same..... duh. If you look through his stuff he has loads of fake Zeppelin, Beatles, Springsteen, Stones, Floyd and more. Even the so called authentic Traveling Wilbury's is not real. Maybe the George and Petty are ok but 100% not the Lynne and I'm pretty sure the Dylan is bogus also. Anyway, I don't wish to debat about this guy and his ethics but if you are using him a reference be careful and I wouldn't buy anything from the guy either.

I'm thinking about the Eagles autographs with the passing of Glen.

Did we reach a conclusion with the eagles?

Members seemed to lose interest in the discussion.

I'm not sure what else there is to say.. there are a lot of forgeries on Stephen's site, many items that wouldn't pass Roger, JSA or PSA. If folks still want to trust him as a source of authentic autographs they are going to get burned. Pretty straightforward IMO.

Yeah !!!! Boring now!!!
Well it os hard to keep a discussion going when the party that owns them isn't willing to discuss except through Steve and was throwing around contacting his lawyer...So yeah everyone can just make their own minds up on these signatures.

I agree with Adam completely, nobody who actually cares about forgeries got bored with this conversation, but the owner disappearing from this site did make the talks a bit one sided.

Plenty of items were discussed and the owner refused to comment on any of them.

It's sad that the passing of yet another Music Legend is what brought this back to light.

I am not a huge music collector, but after seeing his celebrity stuff and all the damning evidence that his Eagles stuff had major issues, I can't see anyway that someone with even half a brain would touch his stuff.

Get an opinion from psa another respectful tpa service.

PSA will not pass them.

Mr Duncan could be potentially be sitting on a little gold mine with these Eagles graphs.

This is why I believe we need a few tpa's because there are differing opinions.

Isn´t this one of Stephen´s former items hitting the market now?
