Autograph Live's first Band-Signed Beatles Album Census was in 2011.

Our second was in 2016. (A few were added to it since then.)

It's 2025—time to update it!

Let's add what we know has been discovered since 2016, and make sure nothing was missed or duplicated in the 2011 and 2016 ones.

We'll start a separate price census too.

Once we're comfortable with the information we have, we'll formalize the census so collectors and dealers worldwide cab make better decisions on Beatles album sales and purchases.

The vast majority of Marilyn Monroe forged signed photos are studio portraits, but we'll leave her to another discussion.

Indeed, I was just thinking about the numbers of candids not being so huge so  perhaps a bit of an easier start.

So you gather all of these, plus many more in one place? Then also comment on when sold if known? No Hollywood photos or signed notes.

Description being who it's signed to and possible year, location, occasion, original photo owner/photographer.

I was thinking of the Kuflik candids when I wrote that but yes, in a shell, and with more examples of course. With each being a unique image the number of potential inclusions would be less than studio images etc., and it would also be wonderful to look at chronologically. Again, just thinking aloud.

Pauline, I'll send you a message and we can discuss it. You're my Marilyn goto expert, so I'll go with what you want to do if you're interested.

I posted this previously. It has ca. September 1967 signatures (as estimated by Frank Caiazzo in two authentication letters).

If I'm not mistaken, the six signed UK copies of SPLHCB  includes at least one or two signed with first names only (for fans outside EMI studios)...e.g., John signing "John X". Is this correct? If so, then the number of fully signed UK copies is even less than six.

Steve,  You neglected to include my signed copy of Introducing . . . The Beatles.  See this thread: https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/signed-beatles-albu...

Perhaps add the EPs as well?

The Analog Auction ones?

Analog auction ones are very important. And we need to document which ones have images to make sure they're real and the count is accurate.

Are you sure you want to include those?

Yes, they form the base that the census is built from. But we need to properly classify what we use, whether there are known photos, etc. The majority of these are Please Please Mes and With the Beatles.
