I have doubts.
I agree with Steve and he has a Carroll O'Connor signature study somewhere on here. I was just talking with my good friend Mike P. about starting an All in the Family discussion as soon as I get the 40 or so autographs scanned.
My first gut reaction was the same hand did all four. You typically see more variation in size and pressure among the four.
I think you are probably correct. I would not be comfortable having any of them in my collection as they appear.
I never did a study, but if I recall, there was a thread a few years back in which we discussed an AITF cast photo that had a questioned Carroll O'Connor. (The other sigs were good.) I believe some others chimed in with examples.
Was watching an episode of Gunsmoke recently from 1966 or 67 that had Carroll O'Connor as a guest star. He looked so much younger without that wild white head of hair. LOL
You are right it was Brick that added the study but I remember you added to it. Think I posted a check of his. That Gunsmoke episode was probably "Major Glory" I remember watching that when it aired one of the first things I remember him from. I think he did another Gunsmoke but I do not recall that one as well. He was such a great actor.
the O'Connor is way off, as is the Stapleton. Cast signed photos of this sitcom are extremely rare. I have them on index cards, that's it.
From my collection. I believe this to be authentic.
