Another FAKE MANTLE from ebay seller yardsalegnome

Seller claims 100% legit and that PSA consultant Bob Zalfian has said it was good. This idiot claims that Green Jacket Auctions is the largest sports auctioneer in the world since Mr. Zafian owns it. They sell golf items.

Bob Zafian is or was the golf authenticator at PSA. Looks to me like he did issue a COA for that Mantle and auctioned it. Seems he is not that good at authenticating signatures. Looks like a conflict of interest to me. Certifying garbage he himself auctions off as authentic. Real shame.

It never ceases to amaze me when we see this stuff. The seller claiming that Green Jacket Auctions is the largest in the country/world, lets me know that he is fully aware that this is a bad piece and is trying to pump up the legitimacy.

Google him. It states the largest golf memorabilia company. Based on auctions, I would agree with him. $682,000 for a Horton Smith Masters jacket!! Shouldn't be authenticating Mantle however.

I thought he signed this pose for Upper Deck, but I could be mistaken. In any case, you are right in that it is not a common authentically signed pose.

Here is the photo. I think this was a UDA photo signed in very limited quantities. I have only seen two from UDA and never a non UDA signed that was legit.
