I belive warehouse is buy my apartment
What's their sales pitch like nowadays?
If one knows how it's done, it's obvious what's happening. The garish, elaborate and very expensive framing is the first clue.
Like John once sang to an old friend of his: "How do you sleep at night?"
there very friendly and polite and talk to and tell u please contact me the sales person u are talking to because Im on commission and I can get u a better deal than whats list for sale.
I was amazed how much stuff was being sold when I was there.
Do they mix in the garbage with some legit stuff? My memory is it was mostly fakes.
The b*lls it takes to concoct and perpetuate this enterprise blows my mind, not to mention the gullible customers who are literally pick-pocketed out of their check books. All it takes is a few minutes of research....
there coas make great camp fire starters in the woods
I was reading some of their comments to the many negative reviews on Yelp. Toby Stofa (owner) has to know his stuff is garbage -- yet keeps lashing out at the reviewers -- threatening lawsuits and promoting his forensics theory, etc. It would be laughable if people weren't being swindled out of thousands of dollars. Poor buyers will eventually figure out their stuff is worthless when they try to sell it, send to PSA, or post on this site.
That's already happened; a quick Google search is ripe with various fraudulent reports over the years.
Tonight, after 5 minutes of viewing a handful of George Harrison items from their website, every single signature I found was fake.
Or perhaps their heirs. “Gee, Dad really left us a cool autograph collection!”
“Wait a minute...what do you mean they’re fake?!”
It's unfortunate that this crap has been selling for decades.
Ms. Toby Stoffa is very aware of what she is selling.
The people that buy that crap are impulse buyers who are impressed by the name (Antiquities International) and their phony "Forensic" authenticators.
It's both disgusting and sad.
