There are a lot of great items available at auction this next week and I recognize most of them from the last 20 years but this new one on R&R has got me doubting myself and could use some help.

It looks great but a little too familiar... anyone remember this one that was signed for the boy in the opening scene of the movie that sold at Bonhams like 5 years ago and again at Gotta Have It last year...

Is it possible that these were signed immediately after each other? There are extremely subtle differences in each signature but they are 99.9% identical.  I would love to hear your thoughts.

The family sold two as I recall but he asked the Beatles to sign more for the kids of friends. I heard at least 5 total

I found 3 different and 3 others (lighting technician, George's sister, and a questionable Miami one)

Louise Harrison's was signed on a train, wasn't it? I'm hoping to find ones signed the same day.

I believe this is one that sold 5/2011 for a little over 60k

RR emailed me and said they're both real and signed at the same time, with same provenance, etc.

That makes sense. But where’s the letter from the owner? He provided one for the SAS auction. Why different pens for George?

If John had a pen and the others didn't, whoever had them sign may have handed them a pen. Thinking about it, it's unlikely they'd walk up without a pen to get their autographs.

The jury's still out for me on these. They both look genuine but I am not comfortable with so many similarities.

Yeah, I agree. Its unfortunate because I'd never be able to buy them because there are just too many questions. The search for a 67 set continues...

The number of differences combined with the ways in which the signatures differ makes me believe that RR is correct that both sets are authentic.

Here's the one signed to Doc Gordon:

This is Louise Harrison's. HUGE image!

Here's another one
