Ebay Seller Bassfanbob Sells Forged Autographed Babe Ruth Baseball COA Bowie Kuhn

This is as laughable as it gets.

Who the heck purchases an autographed Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig baseball for $600.00 and thinks they got a "steal?"

And as for the seller, no one sells an "authentic" Babe Ruth/Lou Gehrig autographed baseball for $600.00 (Buy It Now) without knowing it's a forgery.

Ebay seller Bassfanbob sold the below forged Babe Ruth/Lou Gehrig baseball for a whopping $600.00.

Does the buyer of this garbage really think they purchased an authentic set of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autographed baseball for $60.00.

It even comes with a fake COA from Bowie Kuhn.

Crap like this is an easy sell on EBay, because Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers.

Only one place sells crap like this and that is Coach's Corner Auctions (Lee Trythall and Scott Malack).

Check out this baseball; it looks like it was penned in the last six months;  I can still smell the ink.

Here are those laughable Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig forgeries sold by Ebay seller Bassfanbob for $600.00.

Here's a laughable "1993 Yankees" team-signed baseball listed by Ebay seller Bassfanbob.

As you can clearly see, they are laughable forgeries.

What a deal!!!  Only $600.00.

More garbage from Ebay seller Bassfanbob.

Only $600.00 for an autographed Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig baseball with the inscription "1938 World Series."

Seriously!!!!

That definitely looks like it was bought from the Roaches Corner and flipped. Probably bought by one of those infamous galleries that we have talked about here and they will continue the criminal activity in their storefront, probably with a huge price tag.

I really am hating this business/hobby now.

Ebay is a cesspool, far worse than it has ever been, far worse than the days when there were multiple sellers of the Marino gang forgeries. One of those idiots tried to defame me and I traced him down despite laughable attempts to hide his identity. I nailed him for a five figure payout despite his pleas of poverty. He actually had to pay me with a credit card check. I cried for him all the way to the bank.

I just despise what these criminals have done to what used to be so much fun.

I feel the same way.  Really considering pulling out of autographs, at least for a while.   This crap is making me sick.

It's a magical ball. Must have been signed between 1938 to 1942 (Gehrig's gone in '41) by a pen that wouldn't be marketed until 1964 and in some inexplicable way, after 76 years, the ink didn't feather or spread into the hide. Magical.

Ruth was 4 years out of his Yankee career and retired in 1938.  not sure why the forger picked that year for a Ruth Gehrig signature.

Terrier, that's because the forgers aren't the sharpest tools in the shed and neither are the buyers of this crap.

I have no doubt that more forgeries are sold on Ebay on a daily basis than authentic autographs.

The delusional think they're getting a "steal" when they purchase a piece-of-crap Ruth forgery for $600.00.

I will continue to expose the Ebay sellers of forgeries.

Ebay is the BIGGEST CESSPOOL of scammers.

Roach's Korner Auctions continues to sell tons of forgeries with phony COAs from Bowie Kuhn and Barry Halper.

The latest trick is to use the name of a prominent dead person on these phony COAs. Apparently former Commissioner Bowie Kuhn is the latest.

Absolutely sickening. Associating this trash with the name of a dead person who can't defend himself.

The lowest cavern in hell is reserved for the bottom-feeding slugs who do this.

These people have no conscience.

This is the same thing many forgers do in the MJ world.  They use letters from dead managers, dead friends, dead designers - all because they can't corroborate the story.  And fans are so freakin gullible its amazing to me.

I will never understand that, Wascher.

Whats even more weird Chris is that people will FIGHT with you when you tell them they have a forgery.  They will go out of their way to attack you, the person trying to help them.  Its why I rarely weigh in.  I mean who needs to be attacked when your trying to help them get their money back from where they bought something?  I'm at the point that if I do help and someone flips the script on me and attacks me - I throw my hands up in the air and say to myself, "oh well".  I gave my opinion.  Goodnight lol
