Ebay Seller Steve_Ferr Mickey Mantle Autographed Photo Forgery COA Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators Steve Rocchi

Check out the below Mickey Mantle forgery on a photograph found on Ebay.

This ugly Mickey Mantle forgery is listed by Ebay seller Steve_ferr.

This is a "Florida" forgery.

The people who buy and sell this crap have ZERO knowledge of autographs.

This garbage is found at websites like AtAuction.com (formerly AlwaysAtAuction.com, CEO John House),  Ubid.com (CEO, Bob Geras), AAFES, local auctions, charity auctions, estate sales, etc.   Those are the major outlets for the "Florida" forgeries.

These typical Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Duke Snider, etc. "Florida" forgeries come with a COA from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) headed by Steve Rocchi.

GFA (Steve Rocchi) picked up where Chris Morales, Ted Taylor and Drew Max left off after AlwaysAtAuction.com changed their name to AtAuction.com.

Steve Rocchi must be proud of himself to be mentioned in the same circles are Chris Morales, Drew Max and Ted Taylor.

AtAuction.com  continues to sell Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio forgeries on a weekly basis.

The people who buy this crap, purchase this garbage on the cheap, and then look to flip it on Ebay for a profit.

These forgeries have infected our autograph hobby by the hundreds of thousands.

Everywhere we look these GFA certed forgeries are at local auctions, estate sales, charity events, and, of course, AtAuction.com (CEO, John House) and Ubid.com (CEO, Bob Geras).

Ebay seller Steve_ferr writes "The framing and mat boarding was $150.00."

The matting and framing is cheap crap that comes already framed when purchased from AtAuction.com, Ubid.com and Military Exchange Auctions.

Ebay seller Steve_ferr also writes "It is also a Limited Edition Print."

Really, Ebay seller Steve_ferr?

"Florida" has been pumping this crap out for years!!!!

Opinion on this?

Sorry, not authentic.

Another one I picked up over the years,

Sorry, not authentic.

I'll attach the cert for this as well ? Opinions?

None of these are authentic IMO. Sorry

I want the Truth so It's ok , I am sorry I wasn't smarter over the years Randy. I've got a ton of stuff, but to me growing up a Yankees fan that and the Williams stuff was most  important for me to know.

This company is still in business the best I can tell. If purchased directly from them and you have the invoice, you might be able to get your money back. The LOA has a notary seal over the autograph. Not sure what, if anything, that means. The autographs speak for themselves so I don't think they had a signing of the pair but you might check and see what that seal is supposed to mean. I assume it just means that the President of the company signed the LOA and her signature was notarized but I'm guessing here.

I too bought a bunch of bad Mantle, Dimaggio, and Williams autographs in the late 90's when Ebay started and I knew zero about autographs. Found out a few years later I had blown about $4k on bad ones. They all had similar looking LOAs which I thought made them real. Bad assumption on my part.

Wait for other opinions here to be posted. There are many experts on these autographs on this forum but I don't like any of the ones you have posted.

I have the invoice, no one to blame but me. Fall Classic Collectables is the only one I have paperwork on to go after.

Randy is correct, all junk.
