Hi All,
Another. The anniversary for Apollo 14 just passed I think. Apologies if this has been posted.

Only 7 left. What ever happened to space exploration? Guess we are all satisfied with Facebook.
Hi Joe,
Just 7. Isn't that what we started this all with - 7?I met just 1 about 20-25 years ago.
Not quite all on FB ;)
I am not on that. While there certainly is interior space to be explored, I long to see a Saturn V or even a shuttle launch again. It has been too many years - I used to watch the shuttle from my backyard - took about 7 minutes to get here and was visible for about 25 seconds if you looked in just the right spot.

Believe we had 12 in total. I grew up in Orlando and witnessed all the Apollo launches including 11. That when astronauts were heroes. Now we don't even know their names. Except for Capt. Kirk and Spock. Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
That's right, 12 of the Apollo Program astronauts became moonwalkers, but the first American astronaut group in 1959 was The Mercury Seven. John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth, is still with us.
Hi Steve,
Wow - amazing indeed! Thanks - I'd like to see the pictures you mention. Joe - I hear you - but I long for a day when a "space job" is nothing to write home about.

That's awesome stuff, Steve!!!!
H Steve,
Amazing material! Truly stupendous. You are so fortune to have met these men.
Thank you for posting them,
Eric
I remember as a kid in the 1960's and 1970's watching Jules Bergman on Channel 7 commenting on the various space flights.
