This looks okay to me. The G is signed a little different to others with the slant but I still think it's good.
That is definitely Gene Wilders autograph..I’m iffy on the dedication. At first glance it seems to be in another person handwriting. Note the thickness difference in the two signatures.. also the unusual slanting of the dedication versus the signature. Wilder would’ve had to have signed at two different angles for it to be all in his hand.. just my .02...
It looks like it was written at that angle to put it in the best spot possible in the lightened area, which he absolutely would have done. It is the handwriting that I'm not sure on.
Thanks for all of the input! Very much appreciated!
I've only ever read of two authentic replies during the early 2000s and one is yours and my friend Todd who had written multiple page letter to him feeling it would attract his attention and it did.
Sounds like the Todd in NE Ohio that I know. Same person?
It is Todd who runs toddsautographarena.com
He's been faithfully attending the Hollywood Collector Show for probably 20+ years and has always been a big help to me early in collecting with knowledge on authentics and fakes.
Anyway...he wrote Gene a long letter, multiple pages, in the early 2000s and got a hand signed version of his pre print autograph. IIRC it read "Todd, this is my real autograph Gene Wilder"
