Not signed by George, unfortunately. It’s a printed signature.
Who owns the award?
I bought it from Cohen's now-widow. I find it hard to believe it was printed. Only three were presented and she gave me photos from the event, which Jeff Lynn also attended.
Is the autograph on the record?
Yes, it’s on the record.
Well there you go, then... Thanks. At least the inscription is in his hand, and the Jeff Lynn sig is real.
Nice. Sorry for the bad news about George’s signature.
Perry is very knowledgeable. It’s hard to tell unless you’ve seen another of these awards. It happened to another prominent Beatles seller as well.
EDIT: This was in reply this now deleted post:
Perry Cox gave this the thumb's up, too. Is he often mistaken?
At least the award is real if you didn't buy it as a signed George award paying extra. There's so many fake awards around these days.
