Ok I did look at all the marilyn autographs  and almost all of them are different  no regular style all over the place . Sour how can you say this one isn't  hers ?

Because I have been working with autographs for 20 years? And those Kuflik examples do have commonalities...

So you are saying that they are the same if you were to superimposed them they would even be close to each other I don't  think so try it . I'm not a fool I can see how different  she signed most of the time .  I'm  sure if she was at a signing she would have probably  been a lot more similar.

No, that is not what I said at all. They share commonalities that do not occur in your signature. Steve suggests secretarial - another possibility. Whatever its nature - it is nor a Monroe signature. I am sorry it is not what you hoped. Enjoy the Joe D. and your memories of that nice lady and her husband.

How do you explain that everyone is in the same room ? Everyone can see her sign it that night .

I don't have to explain that. I can see she did not sign it. How can you explain the fact your signature deviates so much from her authentic signature that every eye here I believe, including at least 4 very formidable sets, have discounted this signature?

Well when I get them authenticated and they sell for a record price I'll  be sure to make it known that all of you said it's  not hers how you going to feel about your selves  then "experts huh" you can't  see what's  right in front of you everything shows she signed it even pictures  showing her signing autographs  that night .  If yall are supposed to be experts  the autograph community is in a lot of trouble  no wonder there has been so many forgeries you claim  the real ones are not real and the fake ones are go figure  !!!

That MM will never pass any serious authentication. There is nothing in front of me that shows MM signed that, but a LOT to show she did not. I have already provided you with a link for an additional opinion from Beckett - why not use that first? You will be wasting cash to send that in for full review - it simply doesn't warrant it. Good luck.

PS - Ask yourself - what is simply more likely? Everyone here with experience in autographs is wrong, or you are?

The fee at PSA/DNA to authenticate MM is $250.

Here is a link so you can submit your signature.

PSA/DNA Submission Center

Be sure to post the results.

I would be more than satisfied with Pauline's opinion if she gives it. What Jason says below is true. I do not believe in or use these companies as I have no need, but you asked where you could submit your signature so I posted the link.

The autograph community is in trouble because the third party authenticators aka so-called experts are probably people who "just need a job" and being hired to render their OPINION on an autograph. The community is not in trouble because of good quality collectors with extensive, vast, honest and sincere knowledge of autographs. I would sooner trust the knowledge of the members here for any price over a buy one get one free sale on authentication from JSA/PSA/CAS/BAS/SGC etc...I've had many problems with their authentication and database practices too. You should check out "hauls of shame" and google the website with the TPAs name and it will bring up many of the best frauds and mistakes due to people believing in these TPAs.

Trent, why are you acting so defensive?

Remember, you're the one that started this thread in order to invite opinions, and you got them....

But now that you don't like those opinions, you get defensive.

We anxiously await the result.

Do that and then come back and brag what’s its going to do to all the experts.

No authenticator passes it.
