I'm sure this is fake

This is up on Ebay for just under $5,000.  The picture itself must date to 2006 or thereabouts so way after Prince stopped signing and I don't think Prince ever signed "Love God" plus the symbol. Seller is adamant it's authentic and was given to his step-sister who was a backing dancer (she apparently has lots of items signed by Prince).  All sounds very suspicious.

Your title says it all "I'm sure this is fake"   You were correct.  The step-sister / back-up dancer is a new twist though.  Also, the company who certified this has been discussed on this site before. Stay far away.

I messged the seller to explain why I was sure it lacked authenticity. Only to be described as having "crawled out of my Mom's basement" and "not knowing the difference between Prince's autograph and Dolly Partons". Charming! 

I asked him to name the backing dancer and on what tours did she accompany Prince on. Wouldn't or couldn't answer. 

If the seller really believed it to be genuine, you'd sell that via RR auctions, surely.
