I have compared signature to Pete Bendu’s signature study and it looks fairly authentic to me but I would like some independent opinions.

I don’t know the seller and usually prefer to only buy from dealers I know and trust. It’s come up on EBay in Australia. The seller has 5 other Fords from various points in his career mainly acquired from Celebrity Authentics and Official Pix. He has 1 or 2 other autographs but that is it.

Any assistance much appreciated!

I think it's good. Also, the name of who it was personalized to has been washed off.

It's looks good to me.

Authentic IMO, however, as Steve says the personalisation has been removed and the photo appears to have some yellowing and minor damage which would affect the price

Many thanks all.

The seller was quite open and honest about the damage with detailed close-up photos.

May I also ask your opinions on this piece?

This one is from a trusted seller in my own country and looks in much better condition.

I little rushed but has a shot.

The personalization should have NOT been removed. Don't know why people do that. At least, in my mind.

100% agree but lots do it as they know many only want unpersonalised items and they sell for me. Personally, I don't mind a personalisation and often ask for items to be personalised.

Blame the bleed-through on certain collectors' mentalities -- there exists a group of people who are so militant about not having the name of the previous owner on their signed item that they'll go just short of damaging the item in an attempt to remove it. Seen it happen several times in the sports autograph field.

I think it's absolutely insipid, IMO, as the more writing from the author/actor/etc., the more valuable the item is, particularly if the signer doesn't do many autographs.
