These are from the same seller. How do they look?

Elvis - BIN Price $250

Prince - BIN Price $190

Bob Dylan - BIN Price $160

Whatever the Morrison signature tastes like, I hope it's on soft paper so Bart can at least get some use out of it.

Good one!

Earl grey.

i just showed a picture of my signature to Paul Ferrara and he also says he thinks its real ?

That's not too surprising considering that it's a fairly close copy of a genuine Morrison signature. Consider that it went unsold at a starting price of nearly half what you paid for it before being relisted. Also, the Elvis and Prince "autographs" shown above went unsold at $140 and $100 respectively. Are those genuine as well? If so, why doesn't anyone want them at such low prices?

i cant find any same signature anywhere ,the for billy james u asumed it was copied from is not the same mine has a natural curl in r of for and the signed book dous not and thejmorrison i have to find the signature it was copied from i cant find any like it ? when i look with a magnifying glas it looks like it was written on the paper not copied? sum pieces more cleare and sum more faded ,i dont know if the other where fake or not ,the person who sold it sayd it was from the concert in frankfurt in 68 signed after the show on an album inside page ,but it was veryworn and ripped so they cut the signature out .

It isn't a reprint. By "copied", I mean that it appears to have been forged using the Billy James signature as an example. It has a somewhat slow and loosely drawn appearance. If a seller is offering garbage for peanuts, they'll certainly be willing to make up a story of provenance for you. I wonder why they didn't mention it in the auction description? Again, I've never seen where he signed an autograph as though he was signing a book, and with the signature adjacent to the dedication? Do you have any examples of that? You might want to send Roger a link to the seller's eBay account and see what he thinks?

i can see clearly that the signature was written on the paper so how can this person write just like jim morrison did the paper is imprinted by pusching whille writing ,and two people who are respected people paul ferrara who knew jim and the way he wrote very wel and roger epperson  one of the best jim signature authenticator say this is jim's writing ,good enough for me i did not pay mutch,so i wil take the chanse to say i have another sig .

here you can clearly see the paper has been pusched whille writing and this dous look like jim' writing to me .

Of course there are indentations. Once again, I believe it was forged, by hand, using an authentic signature as an example. That is going to result in indentations in the paper. Look at how the downstroke of the N changes angles. It has a slowly drawn appearance.

There are fake Doors signed contracts with Jim signatures that closely resemble his authentic signature. In fact, at least two of those fakes fooled more than one professional authenticator. The signatures were forged using an authentic contract as an example, and those forged signatures are very close in appearance to the originals.
