Laura Keene, actress who cradled Lincoln's head at Ford's Theater, autograph. Real?

I would like to purchase this autograph of actress Laura Keene was the actress in the play "Our American Cousin" Lincoln was watching when he was shot. Later, Ms. Keene ended up cradling the Lincoln's head in her lap.

Is the autograph of Ms. Keene authentic?

I don't know the signature, but that sure looks awful fresh and bleedy for a signature that would have to be at least 150 years old.

She went through a time machine to sign it -- that shows dedication!

No, that doesn't look good at all.  As Steve points out, looks too fresh..... and that someone trying do it didn't know how to use a fountain pen very well.

I don't know when this was supposedly signed but if it was anywhere around the time of the assassination or a few decades later, it would not even have been a fountain pen.  It would have been a dip pen, and it certainly looks off.

It looks Iike a modern pen to me.

Yep... Whatever it is..."off" is certainly the word.

Thank you and all those who responded. I appreciate the info.
