Well it it obvious by the video none of these are from that session if it isn't just AI. They were both signing their stacks in the LH top corner. Neither did the middle of the card. Not sure why Lil Wayne does this with every release. Not like he actually does anything else.

They offered to send me a return label if I liked…I said I absolutely want a return label but haven’t heard back since.

I got a similar response, but they denied that the signatures were fake. I told them that I want to be refunded for paying shipping and I want the return label to be prepaid by them. I haven't got an email in 3 days, so I opened a dispute on paypal.

I think we need to bring these Fraudulant arseholes down once and for all! I look forward to receiving my 3 fake Art cards and then the fun will begin!

I just got mine and emailed saying thanks for the fake stamped copies I would like the real signatures

I get people are angry but I feel everyone (majority) are not going about this the best way possible.

You are right to be furous but you won't get far when you behave a certain way with customer services.

Hold your ground, stand firm but calling them fake calling them copies calling them scammers is no way to go about it, the resonses you get are no surprise.

If I were impacted by this I would firstly go about it saying I have good reason to believe the signatures you have sent me on this signed image are copies and not by the artist, the reason I have this concern about the autographs in question is the numourous autographs appearing online from fellow receipients are identical with no variation.

As such this lack of variation has me worried about the quality and lack there of the signatures you have sent myself and others. I would like to point you to the video which shows something significantly different that the items you have mailed out to customers.

If you can please go and get an explanation as to why the autographs I have seen match with no slight variation to what you have sent to me and why these differ so much to what was shown in the video that promoted this release.

If you are unable to provide a satisfactory explanation and or provide the next steps I will follow this up with my payment vendor.

With a message like that it isn't slander it isn't outright calling them out it isn't going to turn customer service reps who have no say, no control of what has happened a response like that will give them reason to go and express to management that something is wrong due to the number of customers complaining. It's all to easy to shut off and not care when you are getting a flood of slanderous and nasty messages. Vent by all means but remember those customer service staff had no part in what happened during the production, packing and other such agreements that took place behind the scenes.

I've been dealing with customer services with huge success and never a failing for long enough to know what will get results.

Yes it's even possible those customer service reps are not even native English speaking, I've seen this lately with responses being sent to me from what is a UK company yet the replies always happen at 4-5am with non English names who ignore what has been said and just act on what they think is the best course of action without listening to what a customer has to say.

You also do have to wonder with that video where is the huge stack of cards it looks like 50 each and do we even see them handing the signed cards to each other unless they swap the stack after so you might find 50 people who got lucky even 100 but I don't see masses of CD sized cards.

Very nice solid post. I agree with this. Being articulate is a lost art in today's world. However, I also agree with you about the reps. Employees being paid to respond a certain way regardless. While clear percise statements explaining the situation in detail are very important, the overall number of disgruntled customers and slander against the company on social media seems to bring more results these days. As much as I hate it, the days of writing letters in the context you mentioned stopped being as effective with the rise of the internet. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great practice, but a mix of it all might be best.

The message I sent to them about my order started off the way you explained, trailed off into questions of how something like this could still be happening today and ending with me threatening them that whatever their response, it WILL be posted in this forum as well as social media, including no response at all. Also stated I demand a paid return label and every cent I paid for the item refunded including the original shipping. UMG must still be held accountable for the products they sell.

Honestly it doesn't matter how they respond. My purchase was through PayPal and I feel I'm protected either way. I'm seeing multiple people have linked this post with their email. This is probably the best thing you can do. They will have to read through all of this at some point and realize exactly what they've gotten themselves into.

You seem to miss the fact that all of these reps copy and paste a script. Sadly their job requires no brain.

my bank approved the charge back in less than 24 hours. I guess no fight from UMG or whoever it is. I haven't heard back from them in a couple of weeks. I haven't even opened the mailing pouch.

Yep. Nothing from umg. Escalated to PayPal the other day. No word

Yeah they have till the 10th to answer PayPal for me. Will update with whatever happens.
