Another thing that kills me... Premiere is the only autograph dealer (not sure what the best term to describe them as) that thinks value of an autograph raises or lowers with color, uses it as an excuse to make items more limited which to them justifies this discrepancy. the band is taking the same amount of time to sign these items and they are exactly the same other than ink color. Does blue ink cost more? And how does it make an item limited?

MAYBE... this would work with a red color on someone like Sammy Hagar... In the end, it makes no difference for this album other than for preference

I bet premiere would think Dave Mustaine purposely putting creases in a few of these items would also make it more limited. Maybe that listing will be later on for damaged returns

"Autograph dealer/extortionist." That may be a more accurate description Jason H. I'm waiting for a new autographed version limited to just 1 of 1 and use white ink over a white background. It's so rare even the buyer can't see it.

They're merely taking cues from the collectible sports card market, where card companies seem to think thst making everything a color variation, manufactured 1/1 or numbered/serialized makes something automatically worth 2-4 times the price. Manufactured scarcity/FOMO at work.

I think they're just goofing on us now crazyrabbits. Premiere now has signed BOOKPLATED Charlie Sheen books available in either Black Ink or Red Ink. The Red Ink will cost you an extra $20 though.

Sports cards can get away with it though only because they have a long history of being a collectible item without needing a signature to do so...  Licensed photos, photoshopped and printed, created in a fancy way that no one can duplicate exactly. Most people couldn't get close.

Premiere on the other hand.... Lol, company with a checkered history who's own COAs are worthless and generic. When I first learned of them in the late 00's I actually thought they were a great source for political items.. That genre desperately needed an outlet that didn't come with an automatic fear of being autopen.. seriously how awesome for our hobby.. now something like 18 to 20 years later, they completely forgot who they were and now sell items near flipper pricing while giving the illusion to many they are a regular retail source..

Why would artists like Avril and Dave Mustaine and others agree to exclusive contracts with Premiere? They would be better off selling these items on their own website. No one is looking to premiere collectibles as a source for what's new in music. People go to them solely for autographed items. Exclusive deals with them actually hurt the artist. Selling autographed albums is a way to create hype and market their own product - their music. No one will ever say, "I just saw an autographed item on Premiere Collectibles site and now I just have to have the regular album" there are way better outlets for this. Even TalkShopLive would be a thousand times better.

Yes I noticed the increase in release number  decide not to buy.

Should of pressed  differant colours for each number released

They'll do anything to make as much $ as possible.

I noticed they upped the price of the Diane Keaton book from $60 to $150 just as the news of her passing broke.

a horrible trend of upcharging for different colored ink,

I'm a comic book guy as well, and a few artists like Clayton Crain and Greg Horn, seem like they have 10-15 variations of their scribble, which they all charge extra for.  Was only a few years ago, everyone was happy to sign for free, but the monetizers and flippers ruined that for the comic hobby as well.

"The Red Ink will cost you an extra $20 though. "

That's not cool.

They could've at least called it the "Tiger Blood Edition" signature...

That would be $35 ;)

whan I ordered the vinyl from talk shop live it said an 11 x 11 signed insert now thats removed and it states a signed insert no more size makes me think its a cd size now
