This putrid Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball was listed and sold by Ebay seller Got-Tix!!! for $185.00!!!

This is why the sellers of forgeries list and sell their forgeries on Ebay.  It's where the wannabe autograph collectors buy their autograph forgeries.

You have no idea what you are talking about you idiot. I sold that ball and it is not a forgery, it has been in my collection for years. Before you open your mouth and start spewing BS, you need to have some clue what you are talking about.

Well you have no clue. No doubt like all forgers you'll threaten to sue for defamation etc and will be full of hot air! No doubt purchased from Coaches Corner and flipped for a profit!

All that means, Mr. Shell, is that you've had a Mickey Mantle forgery in your collection for years and that you're sold your Mantle forgery to someone else.

it is a stoned cold forgery and I want to believe Santa will be coming down the chimney and eating my cookies December 24th.

he is spewing truth and you are a babbling jack ass. You are either a rip off artist, a complete dummy or BOTH.

You have NO Clue what the hell you're talking about and that's whats so damned funny. Go put your head in an oven, turn on the gas and light a match... NO ONE will care and you would be doing a great service to yourself and everyone in your family with such a hard stupid head.

The fact that you have off spring is troubling to the next generation. You should have been kicked in the nuts instead of the head when you were little.

That ball is a forgery and you are a thief. EBAY needs to put a stop to crooks selling junk like this on EBAY. Just because you are stupid enough to keep a garbage forgery like this in your collection for years does not make it authentic.

There is ZERO chance your ball is good. I hep the buyer gets smart quick and returns it to you and hammers you on feedback.

horrible forgery.  no question.

A good example of why you do not buy an unauthenticated Mantle ball on ebay from someone with only 7 feedbacks.

Defamation? Thief? Looking through your posts I've come to the conclusion that while you criticize others items, you have zero to offer as to why any autograph is a forgery or a fake. Not one of you have offered expertise to anyone such as...this player never signs in black ink...or these are the characteristics of this players signature...or during that timeframe this player did or did not dot I's or cross T's. I would venture to say you couldn't tell real from fake if you were looking at both. Sure, everyone knows there are certain experts who are more reliable than others, but none of you are those experts nor do you work for those companies. Sue for defamation...what a joke, I would have to think someone gave a s*** about your opinion first. Are you not aware that eBay has experts who monitor autographed items and know what to look for?...or are you smarter than eBay as well? Now don't you kids have a dungeons and dragons game to get to in your moms basement?

We do not typically get into detail as to why something is a forgery as this is not a site where we wish to educate current and future forgers.

in your case, just look closely at the formation of the M's and how slowly they are drawn.  compare it to any authentic Mantle signature.  If you are objective about it, you will see the difference.

So collectors like myself, who have studied autographs for a long, long time, need to work for a company to know autographs?

Do you realize that EBay has profited millions & millions of dollar from the sales of forgeries like yours!!!!

Ebay doesn't give a crap about forgeries; they only give a crap about forgeries after they've been exposed.  Ebay does not have autograph experts on their staff!!

And your Mantle forgery is as pathetic as it gets!!!  And some Ebay wannabe autograph bought your garbage.  I hope the buyer of your Mantle forgery sends it to PSA or JSA.  It will be rejected in a millisecond.

Lol its just funny now. This ebay forgery seller really has no clue who he is talking too. Keep making yourself look ignorant Blayne Shell. And by the way, now that your ebay name will show up on any google search for selling forgeries, you might want to reconsider if anyone will give a s***.

I'm curious Mr. Williams, how many balls have you sent to JSA and what makes you the expert? Do you need to work for a company? No, but you should have some credentials if you are going to call me out...and yet you don't. Terrier I have looked through plenty of Mantle balls and there are many differences in them. The M's with different angles and loops, the height of the Y...etc... No two are exactly the same...yes, plenty of similarity's. Take my two George Brett items on eBay. The magazine he signed for me at his retirement weekend...I had a press pass. The bat, I have had for years and you cannot get that particular bat without a signature. Do I have the coa, nope, is it fake, nope. Are the two signatures different between the bat and the magazine, yep. And yet they are both real...unless you are going to say the entire bat itself is fake and I was not at Brett's retirement weekend....in which case you are calling me a liar once again without having a clue who I am. Point being, before you have the audacity to call some one out, you better have all the facts or you just look silly.
