Is this authentic? Not sure if there is a Mantle thread already started, if so I apologize for the double post.

I am not 100% on Mantle's.  I am a little concerned about the spacing with the "ick" however.  Let's see if CEE GEE or Christopher can chime in here.

The "." above the "i" looked a tad off to me too.... Typically the dot was right above the lowercase "i" or sometimes even behind it... this one looks way out in front. I'll see if CEE GEE or Chris chimes in.

it would not surprise me if this were authentic. the dot and the underline aren't deal breakers.  there are a lot of positives, but I am just not strong enough with Mantle's yet to say for certain.

  I'm curious why he put the line under his signature. I've seen that but not sure why he did it. Do you know why he did that?

  Looks like he is using it for centering his signature....atleast thats what I'm going to guess.

I do not know the rhyme or reason, but he did the underscore occasionally. I've seen it many times before.

You think he was going to inscribe it when the show folks said oh no, that guy didn't pay the extra inscription fee? Could be.  Would be funny though. LOL
