Musicians Who Sell Their Signatures In Shop.

We now have a Musician-Direct Autograph Sales Forum where you can post individual discussions of new offerings. It's a big change—and a big improvement. We closed this discussion after 8 years but it will always be available to read.

Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

Not sure if this one has been mentioned, but the band Daddy has vinyl records through Newbury that include a signed postcard. Daddy is James Franco's band.

Just throwing this out here and surprised nobody is talking about it. The Bruce Springsteen book pics are out on RAAC facebook and it appears he has signed them. Definitely not autopen with so many variations. Somebody brought up that maybe his wife signed some but I would doubt she would be that good forging his signature but I guess you never know. Look good to me though. I would post some of the book signatures but for some reason I have trouble doing images.

He had to sign at least 20.000 of them, if not more. There are 9 M&G's with him, each includes a signed book and have space for 1500-2000 fans. God knows how many Deluxe edition books were sold through B&N and Waterstones... But it says he's been signing them while on the road in the past couple of weeks and seems he's treating his fans very serious so I doubt he would do any "secretaries".

The numbered editions are for the deluxe copy of the book, only available with B&N pre-order correct?. I think thats what you are referring to. The in store appearance books, I dont think are numbered. That is what is posted on RACC
