A terrible loss of a great American.

It seems PSA has a hair trigger with the likely not genuine.

In my opinion, 1 and 3 are unquestionably authentic.

2 is too fuzzy to form an opinion.

4 appears to be likely okay, but I'd want a closer examination to be able to ascertain speed and flow better.

I agree that 1 and 3 are definitely authentic. The guy who sold 1 and 3 also sold me an inscribed 3x5 for $500. I had the opportunity to get the 2 $800 ones that Craig got, but I thought I would possibly be overpaying. I don't like #2.

just to remember; 90 days from now these listings will not be viewable from bigdon45

APOLLO 11 NASA ASTRONAUT NEIL ARMSTRONG AUTOGRAPHED 3 x 5 CARD

The Houston Chronicle published an article on Neil Armstrong autographs, for which I was interviewed and quoted. :-)

You can read it here:

Very nice, Mr. Zipper.

I don't see no Mr. Zipper quoted  ;-)

surprised noone thought to note that PSA DNA identified Armstrong as the 7th most forged signature in their 2010  most forged in the Entertainment & Historical listing;

Neil Armstrong - ($1,000 for a signed cut to $5,000 or more for a signed photo). It may come as a surprise but astronauts are one of the popular autograph collecting themes in the hobby. With that in mind, it is easy to see why an autograph from the first man to set foot on the moon (1969) would be the pinnacle of these collections. In fact, authentic signed photos of the Apollo 11 crew can generate upwards of $5,000 or more. Over the past three decades, Armstrong has had a virtual no-autograph policy, making it even more difficult for collectors to obtain the genuine article.

"Neil Armstrong signed 3 x 5 index cards. Got 14 signed at Purdue. I have both black and blue. If you have preference of color, please let me know when you pay using Paypal. Shipping $4. Comes with coa."

WOW.... The signature looks drawn, not signed. Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neil-Armstrong-Signed-3-x-5-index-card-NASA...

Here is that Neil Armstrong crap from Ebay seller zach0245.

Ebay removed that seller's Neil Armstrong and some of his football autographs.

Good catch, Ryan. Obviously a drawn autograph. If I had to guess, it was traced.

Thank you, Zipper. Here is another bad one (a reprint being sold as original). If you google "Neil Armstrong Autograph" this is the first image that comes up, yet everyone sells this SAME one as an original. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Astronaut-NASA-Neil-Armstrong-autographed-s...

Good catch, Ryan. Are you sure the seller is not the same guy who wrote the blog article where the image appears? They both appear to be named Mike.
