On mine did Pat sign as Pat or Patrick? On yours you mentioned Mike or very short hand Michael in your book.  Is mine Mike or Michael?


I'm sort of leaning towards "Pat" vs "Patrick" since it looks short. The reason is the same for why I'm asking if he wrote "Mike" because it looks shorter than "Michael".

Here is what I have. Now the Doobies book had some controversy from a couple of places, but I believe mine is good and was from Talkshop.

Looks like Pat vs Patrick and Mike vs Michael, unless I'm looking at your signatures wrong.

Premiere Collectibles is selling Michael and Paul's book. I have Paul from writing to him via venue where he was performing.

I wish everyone had signed your DB's book. Thanks for sharing. I just hope mine are real as I bought this for a close friend of mine who is a huge fan. They took me to see them in August 2023 and the whole drive there was a long talk while I sat silently listening. On and on for days about The Doobie Brothers and they put in a lot on their love for Michael McDonald's work and were happy we were going to see DB with Michael performing. It was priceless because I think they could understand why I could talk about my favorite band forever and a day.

My biggest fear is if these are auto pens or pre prints. Even worse are secretarial. I was the one who brought Bon Jovi's signature to everyone's attention this time last year. It didn't look right. Sure enough most all of them were auto penned.

I was about to ask how you got yours so soon because they weren't supposed to be shipped until the 20th, but I just got my shipping notification.  I think it looks pretty good from your photo.
